I am a MSc student based at the University of Bergen. In my master’s thesis, I investigate the influence of temperature on the activity of juvenile green sea urchins (Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis), and how this may influence the survival and dispersal of early life stages of the kelp Laminaria hyperborea.

My research interests include ecological interactions in temperate marine forests and how these systems respond to climate-related stressors (ocean warming, marine heatwaves) and human activities (fisheries and coastal development, coastal darkening) . In particular, I am interested in kelp-forest-associated species, ecosystem dynamics, and applied conservation biology aimed at developing sustainable approaches to marine ecosystem management.
