I am an early-career marine biologist deeply committed to understanding and preserving coastal ecosystems. Inspired by the urgent need for habitat conservation and the protection of marine species, I dedicated myself to hands-on field research in the past, including Mediterranean monk seal cave monitoring and coastal zoning management planning in Turkey. These experiences solidified my passion for marine science and motivated me to pursue the International MSc in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea) program to delve into advanced ecological research.

Currently, my research focuses on intertidal community ecology, specifically examining how habitat cascades function along environmental gradients on rocky shores with a particular emphasis on the Ascophyllum nodosum – Vertebrata lanosa system.
